I think the best thing about that comic was the way it endorsed local (albeit anonymous) sporting personalities attending other local events.
To depict Eagles players, in uniform, attending a cricket match (or possible a Meatloaf or KISS concert) at the WACA when they should be training or sexually assualting woman is fantastic. And the fact that they are attending an event so far from Subiaco Oval (you know, the place where the Eagles play football, as opposed to the WACA where cricket and concerts occur) is really top rate stuff.

I hate to pick nits, but up untill some years ago when Subicrazyjohnaco was renovated and large night lights erected.... the WACA was a common place for AFL games to be played. Atleast 3 or 4 a season. So clearly this cartoon is set some years ago at just such a game (or training session). Football players were still raping chicks (or small mammals) back then so, historically speaking, the cartoon is entirely correct.
