This website uses high resolution, full screen photographs. It is a bit experimental and on some (most?) internet connections it will take atleast a minute to download all the photos. When the photos are loaded (the colorful circles stop spinning around and this message dissapears) scroll across to the right to view the collection of photos. This website does not scroll up and down. It is differnt to other websites. This website scrolls across the screen from left to right. Enjoy my photos! This website is a work in progress and I am always working on making it faster and better.

Big Durian Race

Every year the American Chamber of Commerce in Jakarta run an event called the Big Durian Race. It is kind of like an Amazing Race style event or possibly a scavenger hunt. Teams of 4 or 5 race each other through the streets of Jakarta by whatever means they can muster (Taxi, Bus, Train, Kopaja, Beemo, whatever) to find items, take photos and complete challenges deemed "typically Jakarta" by the expat community. Great way to meet the city if you are an expat new to the city they call the Big Durian.
