Posted by Amazoslafontz at April 2, 2005 07:30 PMYou're disgusting! How dare you announce that Schapelle Corby has been acquited - which is clerly a lie. How would you like to be in her situation? You'd be shitting your pants your cowardly little fuck!
Posted by Lisa at April 2, 2005 07:58 PMYou know, Lisa, if it wasn't for your grammar, spelling, and oh, everything you wrote - you'd be right. You'd be exactly right. Man, I wish I got people this retarded commenting on my site.
Posted by Tim at April 3, 2005 11:30 AMYeah. It's remarkable isn't it Tim. I think it happens because existangst.com has pretty good pagerank at google. So a search for Schapelle Corby at google features existangst.com on only the second page of searches.
Consequently I get a really broad cross-section of people coming to this site. Consequently most people who come to this site are idiots.
I need to get some good sites to link me for once, rather then relying on traffic from Google all the damn time.
Posted by Wangst McPants at April 3, 2005 11:37 AMIt is painfully obvious that you are extreamly upset and worried for schapelle, and are hiding this horribly un-macho sensitivity behind a tough smart ass exterior. Its ok to show some empathy you know, you'll still be considered cool by the chicks down the pub. Dont worry, we cant all be tough, even though Schapelle is being bloody brave in conditions you have no idea of, but then I guess so are you...hiding behind a web page. Im thinking of you S
Posted by sairz at April 3, 2005 06:32 PMReal men cry too, wangsty.
Posted by Amazoslafontz at April 3, 2005 07:46 PMI think it's plenty sad, i do beleive she is innocent and i sincerely hope she gets off. But genuine emotion is just not as funny as angry rants.
Further to the point, I write with such blase recklessness because I understand a few important things:
1: That nobody but those in the Denpasar Court has any say in whether or not Schapelle lives or dies.
and 2: Shapelle Corby is only one person and I should spend my time and energy getting upset about more worthy causes.
Posted by Wangst McPants at April 4, 2005 02:34 PMhave some of you forgotten that drugs are illegal?
"aww poor girl. c/mon judge shes nice let her take her dope back home...she didnt mean it."
BULL SHIT
next time she better cover her arse.
Posted by gimpieman at April 5, 2005 11:50 AMAhhh... so many people totally missing the point. That's funny in itself - did you plan this Angsty, you cunning old dog? A good way to cram more comedic fodder into the site via the incensed comments of unsuspecting (read: clearly clueless) casual browsers ;)
The character i find the most amusing in all of this is John Patrick Ford. As if he wasn't sitting in his cell thinking "Alright! Here's my ticket to a nice little trip to Bali, maybe some fame, maybe even bail!" when he heard of Corby's plight. He's trying to paint himself as a fucking hero, when really he's a weasely, opportunistic rapist! He's not fooling the judge though - he's been refused bail.
Another interesting thing - if the real question here was "Is she guilty or not - is the weed hers or not?" then you'd think it'd be a matter of remedial forensics to find the answer. I doubt the weed was in the bag unprotected - it was probably in some plastic wrap, which they could print for her prints. They could test her for THC (i'd think it'd be rare for someone smuggling marijuana not to be a user as well - although a user is not necessarily a smuggler/dealer). They could've tested for the shit on her hands/clothes as soon as they apprehended her. There are probably numerous forensicy things they could do. It makes you wonder just what the fuck they ARE doing to sort it out. What kind of evidence do they have against her BESIDES having found it in her luggage? What kind of evidence has been presented by the defense BESIDES the testimony of a convicted criminal? As usual, the common man is kept in the dark by sensationalist and politically diluted media.
Posted by WiseGuy at April 8, 2005 12:49 PMI agree wiseguy, I'm sure if you rocked up at Sydney airport with 4kg's from jakarta and your defence was that some smuggler probably meant to do the drop in Bali...hmm..I dont know how well that would go down, and did some baggage handler at Sydney get rubbed out for missing the drop?
Posted by Jeremy at April 8, 2005 02:06 PMYou are a festering cock Gimpieman.
We live in a country that lets convicted murderers free before they are even sick of the low protein prison gruel. Drug dealers in Australia get a slap on the wrist and have to pick up rubbish for a couple of months. For Schapelle Corby to be executed for carrying around plant matter would be a travesty of the worst kind. You must be Asian or a Cunt, because you are definately not Australian. May you follow the pope into hell. On the other hand, I would sooner have that 4kgs returned to Australia than Schapelle.
How much would you need to bribe the guards if you wanted more than just the usual greeting with her druggieness through the bars? I'm thinking something a bit more up close, personal, hot and heavy. HAHAHA
Posted by MandourX at April 11, 2005 07:36 PMLucky she didnt go through customs with a tonne of fish!
Two Indonesians jailed in Australia for illegal fishing
SYDNEY (AFP): Two Indonesians have been fined and jailed for fishing illegally in Australian waters after they were caught with almost one ton of fish and fish products on board their boat, officials said on Tuesday.
The men, aged 31 and 45, pleaded guilty to two counts of illegal fishing and one of resisting arrest after straying 16 nautical miles inside Australian waters last November.
The pair, who were captains on the Indonesian vessel, were pursued by the Australian Navy off the Northern Territory for 25 minutes before being arrested.
They were sentenced on Monday to three months in jail and fined 100,000 dollars (US$77,536) each.
In welcoming the decision, Fisheries Minister Ian MacDonald said the government was working with Indonesia to clamp down on illegal fishing.
"Decimation of fish stocks is as much a problem for the Indonesian government as it is for Australia, and I look forward to increasingly cooperative actions to deter illegal fishing at its source," he said.
In a separate incident, Australian authorities on Tuesday destroyed an illegal Indonesian fishing boat which was found stranded in a Northern Territory channel and were questioning the six people aboard. (**)
Hey Editor
You're a great writer and you have a talent for satire. If only you would put it to good use instead of insulting and offending Schapelle and her supported. There's a life that hangs in the balance and you show an inhumane response. You should write better things than this. Your wasted on offensive articles. Remember, just because writing this crap gets you more attention, it does not make the idea smart.
Here's hoping you mature one day.
Regards NYOB
Posted by noyb at April 13, 2005 07:04 PMCLassic! Good to see some of us havent lost the sense of humour. Sorry to all those who have a 'feeling' shes innocent. Must be those sneaky corrupt Indo authorities, not us ethical Aussies (anyone remeber the corruption in NSW, VIC and WA police forces over the past 15 years?).
Hey wait a minute... I remember a Vietnamese Australian facing the firing squad in Singapore a few years ago. Poor bugger, dont remember people screaming his assumed innocence - then again he wasnt 'one of us'.
Posted by Boss at April 13, 2005 09:44 PMOh yeah the Viet-Aus was facing drug charges too.
Posted by Boss at April 13, 2005 09:45 PMWhen you take a chance you must wear the consequences. This is a lesson and the last lesson she will learn. No point crying like a baby now.
Posted by Normal Man at April 14, 2005 03:38 PMUhhmm, I'm I alone here or is it the fact that there are really dumb, stupid dickheads posting here -- It must have been said over a dozen times that the pot was found INBOUND to asia not OUTBOUND. Not even a retarded, down syndrome moogle would think of spending $30-40,000 and taking it to Indonesia to give it away. Unless you where terminally ill and no one in Australia would euthanase you, but then there are better ways to kill yourself. Come on, and stowing in a fucking obvious boogie board too, Ohh this is to much, even an IQ above 80 would reason how stupid this all looks (yes my spelling is equaly retarded -difference is I dont care to check). Sorry - but the average human can see how fucked up this is, and the average indonesian wants here killed, they have been rallying for her death in the streets - this proves that the flat nosed, pig headed sub humans they are are not even close to homo sapian standard. Lets all just turn our backs on these retarded countries, after all the world is a big place and there are plenty of places to spend our tourist dollers where we are liked and respected as human beings.
Posted by DazdaspaZ at April 15, 2005 10:26 AMOhh yeah, and as for the vietnamese fool that got killed - Big difference you ignorant shit. He had smack taped to his body - oh I supposed an air hostess stripped him and planted it there in his sleep. But hey - I do admit that killing him is harsh, but he 1. knew the risk. 2. was prepared to do it. 3. failed - his fault.
Posted by Dazdapsaz at April 15, 2005 11:05 AMDazadapsaz YOU ignorant shit. You KNOW the people that read this website are morons- why are you fanning the flames? If you use words like 'subhuman' you encorage them! Have you read some of the racist irrational bullshit people have plastered all over the already shite covered pages of this website? We dont need to insight that rubbish- especially because its boring, unthinking, backward hick talk.
It used to be that ppl wrote mildly poinient things here (well, occasionally). Why isnt anybody noticing the fact that their racist point of veiw is particuarly helpful to justify the nationalistic policies of a government who continues to send us to wars we dont belong in, limit immigration to Asians and lock up any poor shmo who comes here ligtimately seeking asylum- based on this ideology?
This is as much about image control for the Australian Government as it is for the Indonesian government (NOT indonesian culture or people). When they look bad we have someone else to blame- and, it appears to me that most people writing on this subject are very good at doing that. Just think about what else is going on- Austrlians are not infallible and that racist attitude is contrived bullshit. We're starting to adopt a Bushlike mentality that is pretty scary and people dont need to be encouraged to think that way. So, Dazdapsaz, whether you meant it or not, dont think youre being smart, its just easy illconsidered crap. Go write to the West Australian.
Posted by Amazoslafontz at April 15, 2005 01:25 PMHey Daz, perhaps the grass was on its way to somewhere else and just having a holiday in bali...like the smack from Burma!
Posted by Jeremy at April 19, 2005 09:21 AMYeh
cos dont we all like to all carry as many clas a,b and c drugs as possible when we are travelling to countrys where the average individual is a total idiot who will eat you if they are short of food in the pantry cupboard. Personally I like to be smoking a joint as I walk through Indo customs. I also like to keep as much cocaine powder sticking to the hundred dollar bills in my wallet as possible.
I'm assuming you guys get told this every now and then but here it is again for you.
WHAT THE FUCK IS IT WITH YOU?
DONT YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO THAN DRIBBLE IN A TOTALLY DERANGED MANNER?
As for the Wangster in charge. You do not understand the definition of "satire". Satire involves humour not mental illness, which you and your buddies are quite clearly subject to. Satire is entertaining not insulting. What you and others is clearly insulting as a general rule. This means that this is not satire. This is depravity and dementia. Dude get a life.
Now the first thing people are going to say is that I am an elitist fuckhead. Well thats just an easy way out for an idiot who is simply not smart enough to understand what I have written. So please, if you are thinking about responding, make sure you can understand the concepts of your arguements or statement. Otherwise you may as well sit on the sofa, yell at the telivision and leave the real world alone.
ps. Fuck you all in advance. Morons.
Posted by kin at April 20, 2005 02:55 AMthis is great! especially when you're having a very dull day at work. it's entertaining, does that mean i'm mentally disturbed? i don't know if schapelle IS guilty or not, i'll just wait for the verdict.
as for Andrew Chan (the new schapelle) on the other hand, i'd have to say he's guilty.
Posted by jen at April 20, 2005 05:32 AMKin,
you have fallen trap to the very thing you curse...if you really didnt want to support this site then you wouldn't have bothered to read all the posts and write you shit post at the end.
So FUCK YOU BACK LOSER for getting sucked into it
"your shit post", excuse my spelling
Posted by Jeremy at April 20, 2005 08:11 AMHo hum. Gee Jeremy. You put words together to make "sentences". I have "fallen trap". No. I did this deliberately to see what idiots like you would reply with. Call it a social experiment.
But as for you regulars, if these so called satirical remarks of yours are in any way representing your own beliefs. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP.
Congratulations on sinking even deeper into the shit kin! You felt so smug about your post that you came back to see who would respond.. LOSER
actually 'fallen trap' in that context makes perfect grammatical sense....you are merely plastering IGNORANT next to LOSER on your forehead....congratulations, I'm sure your mother is very proud :)
Posted by Jeremy at April 20, 2005 03:45 PMi love the way you posted kin, as though you thought somebody would give a ratsarse about your opinion ... its cute
hi wangst, hows the new 'papal election' article coming along? itd be funny if you "accidentally" (on purpose) misspelt "pope" as "poope"
Posted by waters on at April 20, 2005 06:29 PMThink what you like jeremy
Posted by kin at April 21, 2005 09:27 PMYou've gotta love these idiots at the telegraph, channel 9, etc who are busy trying to save Schappelle, while ignoring the fact that she'd travelled to Bali 23 times in 2 years.... makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Posted by truth hurts at April 22, 2005 03:13 PMtruth hurts are you for real! 23 times in 2 years. can you tell me where you got that from. If that is true then that is very unusual. I just wanna see the facts in something more reliable than your word. no offense to you ofcourse.
Posted by ed at April 22, 2005 03:27 PMactually it was 4 times in 4 years....although she did go twice last year...once in Jan, and then again when she was caught.
Posted by jeremy at April 28, 2005 01:16 PMOK. Thanks
that sounds a little less incriminating
truth hurts. you are a nobhead
If Corby gets life in Bali it will not be that bad. As a white chick she be quite alright as long as she looks after the guards and fellow inmates.
Also I heard that those fishermen in NT who were caught said someone had planted the ton of fish on their boat when they were below desks. Did Aussie courts take much notice of this ?
