If i was given the task to find the new saviour of hip-hip, i don't think i'd start on the East Coast of Canada.

Hailing originally from Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia, Buck 65 is making quite the name for himself. By merging the lyrical voices of Tom Waits and Johnny Cash with beats the Neptunes probably envy, Buck 65 has carved out a unique niche for himself in the world of music.

After moving to France a couple of years ago, Buck 65 spent a year working on the record which was to become Talkin' Honky Blues. It's a magnificent merge of country sensibilities, tight rhymes and choruses catchy enough to occupy your mind for days
