It's the new single from
Magic Dirt: Plastic Loveless Letter.
It is possible that this new idea of mine is not a good one. I know that's hard for many of you to believe since.... it was my idea after all.
You see, much thats sucks about modern pop music stems from that fact that it is often about more then just the music itself. The sexability of the lead singer or the image that is being sold to todays teenagers counts for more then the actual noise that comes through your stereo. Live the rock and roll lifestyle or bling bling with the gansta G's. This nefarious trend in popular music never comes across more clearly then in music videos.
I mean if I start posting Magic Dirt videos, which are entertaining not just because Magic Dirt make cool music, but also because Adalita IS hot and she DOES do lots of cool little dances.... then how far away am I from posting the new
Britney Spears video clip? I mean her music is terrible, but her music videos are entertaining right? She is a good dancer and you want to see her bouncing around showing more skin then a playboy playmate. So if i'm posting Magic Dirt video clip for all the wrong reasons then how close am I to doing the same thing with a Britney clip?
Given this is my attitude, its difficult to understand why I want to go down this path at all. Well.... to hell with my concerns. Adalita Srsen is sexy as fuck in this film clip. It's worth getting this clip just to watch her dancing around in her very very short red dress. And if im not allowed to say things like that on a website thats meant to be about music journalism (as apposed to mere music commentary) then fuck it: I don't want to run a music journalism website. From now on I say what I want: regardless of how crass, misinformed or inappropriate that might be.
With all that in mind, lets see where this goes. Give me feedback on ideal file size, quality and types. For a 4 minute video I can't get it down to much smaller then 40meg. This particular rip also has a bit of annoying interlacing going on.
I will get better at it so bear with me.
